Try your hand at reconstructing one of mankind's greatest fine art masterpieces by putting together a copy of the 3,000 piece Sistine Chapel puzzle by Educa. Unlike the real ceiling in Vatican City which measures 134 feet by 44 feet, this version will comforably fit on a larger table in your home. It would look great on a wall too. When you get it all together your Sistine Chapel puzzle will measure 56 1/2" x 26 3/4".
Interesting trivia: It took Michelangelo four years to paint the ceiling (1508-1512). His first attempt at painting it had to be completely redone, because it got moldy. He had to scrape it off and start over. When he completed his masterpiece there were over 300 different scenes which were all done from atop a scaffold.
Note: This is a puzzle hospital copy. There is a crease on the bottom of the box. It is about 2" long. This puzzle is sold in as-is, final sale condition and is priced accordingly.
