The Peaceable Kingdom Puzzle
Edward Hicks, a self taught American artist, painted the well known painting that is the basis for Pomegranate's The Peaceable Kingdom puzzle. This is just one of the over 100 versions that he painted of the Peaceable Kingdom, but it is certainly a beautiful one. The Peaceable Kingdom puzzle contains enough people and animals to keep anyone occupied, plus add to it a fair amount of darker areas (the fewer colors in a puzzle, the harder it usually is) and it will keep anyone busy for quite a while. The animals include an ox, a lion, a wolf, a lamb, a goat and a cheetah. A small boy stands between a lioness and a bear. In addition Native Americans and settlers can be seen in the distance as well as the settler's ship. The Peaceable Kingdom puzzle measures 25" x 20" and has pieces measuring slightly over one inch in size, making it a good choice for those wanting a puzzle with slightly larger pieces.
